Michael Charles Maibach

Michael Maibach began writing poems around age nine. Since then he has continued writing poems, and sharing them with friends. In 2015 he opened a Facebook page – Poems of Michael Charles Maibach – and launched the www.MaibachPoems.us website.

Education Mr. Maibach is a life-long student. He earned a BA & MA from Northern Illinois University, a BA from California State University, a BS from the American University, an MA from Georgetown University, and an MA from the Institute of World Politics (pending language exam). He has done graduate work at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, as well as the Universidad Ibero-Americana/Mexico, and the Institute for International Studies/Japan. He is currently enrolled in Ashland University’s American History & Government MA Program.

Mr. Maibach has lectured at 40+ US and European universities, and continues giving speeches around the United States today. He was an Adjunct Professor at the Anglo-American College in Prague in 2002 and 2003. Mr. Maibach has published 70+ essays on civics, history, technology, global trade and competitiveness. His poetry website contains over 80 poems. He has visited 64 countries, and has completed 18 Backroads trips. He speaks fluent English, and conversational Spanish.

International Business Professionally, Michael is a seasoned professional in global business diplomacy. He has completed successful careers at the European-American Business Council (President & CEO), Siebel Systems (Senior VP), Intel (VP), and Caterpillar (Manager). Mr. Maibach is a Fellow of the International Academy of Management, was named Outstanding Honors Program Alumni by Northern Illinois University, and is a member of the Illinois State Legislative Intern Hall of Fame. While in college he was elected to the DeKalb County Board (Illinois), the first person elected to public office under 21 years of age in American history.
